Welcome to Thunder FC. The club is just starting its fall season, with league play ending in November. We are currently holding practice twice a week with most age groups. We welcome all players interested in playing to contact us. We are also looking for sponsorship to expand our club, please contact us if you are interested.

We are currently looking to partner with individual or corporate sponsors in order to construct a facility that will house the Thunder FC organization. The initial goal is to purchase a parcel of land that will allow for multiple fields and a field house. If you are interested in assisting with this endeavor, please contact us.

About Us

Thunder FC was founded in 2008 to provide soccer players in Southside Virginia an opportunity to play at a competitive level. Thunder is a member of the SOCA Skyline League. Currently, teams include players from Amelia, Prince Edward, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Buckingham, Nottoway, and Charlotte Courthouse. Thunder FC is currently based out of Farmville. Also we would like to welcome the new members of our board and Thank Rob Comerford for all his hard work in helping get this up and running. We are also going to be defending our U12 championship from the spring!!!
